84 85 86 CJ7 Wiring Diagrams Easy to Read

Hello I made these files to help with 2 cjs Im working on. I hope others can use them. I've found alot of good info here and I want to do my part to contribute.

The ones in the electronic version of the 84-86 CJ7 FSM thats been repeatedly posted are all chopped up onto different pages(originally they were a large fold out I think). I put each section together on a pdf so they can be read much more easily. You can put them on a usb flash drive and take them to Staples to be printed since they are large sized(I had the engine one laminated too). 1st one is 11x20. 4 of them are 11x17. 3 of them are 8.5X11. I recommend printing them in these sizes if u want to be able to read them. Each has the size in the upper right corner. There is alot more info about these diagrams in the FSM under Cb electrical schematics so be sure to refer back to it(The rest of the info in the FSM is easily read and printed on normal size pages). Ray

Having the drawing of each connector makes it easier to find and locate the proper plug.

Thanks Ray

No problem. I will also be using the firewall pinout John made.
C100 in the diagrams is the firewall connector for anyone who doesnt know

Also Found this somewhere:
"The horn relay draws power from "Splice P" which is the termination of the main red 10-gauge coming from the engine compartment, so the only fuse is the fusible link at the starter solenoid. The ignition switch, light switch and fuse block are also powered from the same splice." -- Jim Lou

I saw Splice P alot on one of the diagrams.

Sigh, yup bandwidth challenged, that's for sure. Well now that I finally found my buried lumber piles I can continue with my addition.... Only about 3' of snow left. I am pretty sure I will be able to get real internet from the top of the second story. If not, I am building a platform in the top of a couple big hemlock trees next to the cabin for my solar panels and a windmilll, I can see the freaking tower from up there!

It not the bandwith Mike. My Android app doesn't show the attachments either.
Neither does the Apple app show anything....

To bad because these files would be nice to have when you breakdown on the road, better download them and store them in your cloud.

Mine normally shows photos. I might log on with my laptop later and get them. Handy to have in the phone too.
Man it will be nice to get real internet. Phone tethering is expensive.

They are links to Adobe PDF files, Mike. They are not in the sig line.

You will probably need Adobe Reader for your Android.

That's what I have and is very rare. I purchased the electrical schematic from the Jeep dealer in 1984 and it is a very large fold out print. A little to big to fit on the scanner at home because the size of the pages are larger than standard 8x11 and had to scan, move the print and scan again with over lapping from one page to the next. I think when the print is unfolded and laid out it is over 9 feet long and printed on both sides for both the 4 and 6 cylinder engines.

Thanks for the resized PDF files.
