Can anyone tell me what the 3 wire electrical connector under the glove box is for? It has a tan wire, a brown wire, and a brown with white tracer wire. They head towards the driver side and enter a taped bundle about mid dash. I have been therapeutically purging her of unnecessary wires, in hopes of creating a completely wireless system :grin2::wink2:
Unless the PO added a bunch of wiring there isn't much to delete. There is only lighting, gauges, wipers, blower motor and the radio ( if equipped ). What are you going to delete?

It's for controlling the speed of the blower motor for the heater.
There are 3 resistors in the fresh air duct to keep the resistors cool when operating.
If you want wireless better find an old diesel with a hand crank start....
Carry a flashlight or an acetylene headlights,
remove your windshield, no windshield no wipers needed.
Mechanical gauges.
Learn hand signals
