1984 Apache Scrambler

I have never heard of the Apache model. Does anyone have any information on these? Appears to be completely original. Owner is asking $13,000 which I believe would be on the high side? Nothing appears exceptional and only difference is the graphics? Also this has the low back seats, is this original or standard for this model in 1984? Everything is solid with no rust though. Any thoughts or insight on these Scramblers. Owner claims swamped with calls, 100+ the first day?

Thankyou,

Thankyou,
if theres 100 plus either somethings wrong with it, or hes lying. Id go with the latter.

The Apache is probably just a Dealer set of stickers or the PO puy them on. Even in perfect shape, which I doubt it is, IMHO $13,000 is on the High. Are there any Mods (lifts, shackles, etc)? That lowers the price.

Should have high back buckets from 1980 forward.

i have a 1984 with low back seats but i believe they are not factory even though one of them has CJ embossed into plastic, it may have been a factory CJ seat just not for a 1984 model

mine also has holes in row bar for shoulder belts so i am guessing at one time it had shoulder belt type seat belts. when i got the jeep it only had seat belts and thats the way i have kept it for these many years.

I have seen a Apache decal set, I understand that jeep provided different kits for dealer install,

The guy that was looking at the jeep thought that it was some kind of special or rare jeep (Apache) but someone explained to him it was only a dealer installed decal kit.

This jeep was on Craigslist, with a $5000 asking price, a week later the new owner is asking $13000. Way to high.

Same owner never sold? Started out asking $9500 then when called he went up to a $13000 asking price stating his wife said it was underpriced?
