New Renegade

Picked up a new Renegade S this week, 150bhp 1.3t auto. Seems to have a bit more about it that the 1.4t Limited it replaced, quite a few more toys on this one too. Much prefer the dark grey trims over the silver bits on our old Limited.

They are great looking cars but the engines are terrible! We have the 2.4 from 2017 and itís just not up to the job. Whatís your new car like? Great choice!

The 1.3t seems to have much better torque than the 1.4t, this one is certainly faster than the old and it isn't broken in yet. There are good and bad points, main gripe is they have gone to flush buttons for the heater controls over the old rotary knobs (which you could use without looking at), other than that the 19" alloys make the ride a bit firmer, but than just may be the suspension settings on later madels, it is certainly a bit firmer/better handling. Everything else just seems a little better done over our old 2016 one. Wifey's main moans are they no longer have the Jeep grille embossed in the front leather seats and the mud splash on the rev counter has now gone.
