Angry Grand Cherokee Ignition Switch Recall - Post Replacement issues

My 2007 Grand Cherokee was recalled for the ignition switch issues. The ignition switch was replaced by a dealership at no cost. A couple weeks after the replacement, the car would not start on multiple occasions. After having it towed back to the dealership, they determined it needed a new starter and a new pig-tail connector (almost $600) - and they said it was not related to the ignition replacement so we had to cover the cost. My mother has a jeep as well, and had her ignition replaced and now her car won't start.

Has anyone else experienced starter issues after the ignition switch was replaced?

Sounds like you better get a lawyer.

My yellow-wire issues started shortly after the ignition switch recall if I remember correctly.

I fixed and refixed the yellow wire a half-dozen times before I decided it was actually a flat spot in the starter. I got the starter on RockAuto for $106 to my door. I swapped it out in the garage a just a few hours; no way I'd spend $600 for it.

Poor grammar is something up with which I shall not put.
