Weight lifting & performance supplements.

I figured I would start a thread so everyone can share their methods of lifting weights, cardio, and what supplements you are taking if any. I just got back into the routine of working out 3-4 times a week now that the holidays are over and the school gym has opened back up.

I've taken protein in the past and just started again about 2 weeks ago. I want to start taking creatine or something similar to help gain more muscle mass but our local GNC seems over priced. does anyone know of a good place online to order supplements from?

My stats as of now:

5'7"
143lbs
Bench 235lbs
Run 2 miles in ~ 14:30
6.3% body fat (as of about 3 months ago, I need to check it again)

For me its:

Mondays - Upper body and calf raises.
Tuesday - Cardio interval and back.
Wednesday - Upper body & core.
Thursday - Cardio interval.
Friday - Sunday, I have to work but try to do a few excercises at home.

As of now I'm taking "ON Pro Complex" protein and just bought some "One-A-Day Active" multi-vitamins today.

-25%BF, (I'm really skinny, but I'm quick)

My brother would always get his supplements from websites like http://www.massnutrition.com/ and had pretty good luck with that. If you search google, you can find really cheap stuff, and many websites will beat other prices you find by 10%. Give it a try, it seems weird at first but I've grown to trust most of the supplement sites.

I've been on a weight gaining campaign for the last 4-5 months, and finally got myself above 170. I'm currently at 173, and think I'll try for 175(maybe 180 ) before cutting for spring. I haven't done cardio in months, partly because I'm lazy. I'm giving myself until mid-Feb.

I stick with Protein as my staple supp, pre and post workout. I also take Gluc-Chon, fish oil, and multi on a daily basis. Ohhh, and natty PB. I've tried plenty of designer supps. I usually pick something new each time I re-up on protein. I've found Controlled Labs to be great for the money. Most gentle on the wallet. Most recent used was Size-On and it actually worked. I finally put on weight. I know some of it was my diet, but I do attribute some to the supp. I order all of my supps from BodyBuilding.com. They have great CS, super fast shipping, and they price match. BB.com also has a great forum for additional info on everything.

Run 5 miles a day except Sunday.
Beat the hell out of things for 2+ hours at least 3 times a week.
About 300 punches every other day with 5lb weights.
Mad pushups. Mad situps. Mad squats.
Always stretching.

OH WAIT. WHAT?

No other Creatine cell volumizing product works as fast or as long as SizeOn. SizeOn our new intra/post workout formula, is the only cell volumizer containing Creatine Gluconate. SizeOn is the first creatine with a "two staged" delivery system requiring absolutely no "loading period" and insuring fast, sustained, and maximal muscle volumization. Additionally, SizeOn is the only cell volumizer on the market with Outlast, the first bio-engineered carbohydrate specifically designed for athletes and bodybuilders. With its quadruple redundant mitochondrial re-energizing matrix, nothing else compares to SizeOn for providing longer, harder training sessions and mind boggling pumps. SizeOn is so fast, you will literally feel and see increases in muscle belly size and fiber strength in 24-36 hours after the very first serving and unlike other cell volumizers, SizeOn guarantees Zero Stomach distress-no bloating, no abdominal discomfort, no nausea and no frequent "trips to the restroom".
I'm scared of SizeOn now. Lots of big words that sound like someone had way too much fun with the thesaurus(sp?). But I might try it cuz I want to gain weight.

Anyone here have any experience with NO Xplode? I've always wanted to try it, but I'd like to hear the good and the bad first. Would you recommend creatine instead?

Cool thread.

Stats
6'2"
weight 250
bench 325
squat 485
rather not discuss BF %!

I do a 2 day on 1 day rest cycle because of the 24/48 FD shift cycle I work.
day1 bench/bi's/forearms some cardio
day2 shoulder/ traps/ cardio
rest
day3 back/ tri's/ abs/ cardio
day4 legs/ calfs

I do alot of powerlifting lifts. Eat as clean as possible @ 6 times a day. Consume 300grams/day of protein. I use creatine, no xplode, nano x9, Leukic, a daily vitamin, and glucosamine & chondoitin for my joints.

My goal when younger was to compete in strong man contest but life happened instead!

I tried it a while back. NOxplode pre-workout, then a protein shake and CVM Extreme post-workout. I used this for about 3 months and noticed noticeable gains. Nothing crazy, but more than without using anything.

BTW, don't get the "Orange" flavor NOxplode. This is what I had and it tasted like a pound of chalk.

in the flavor department
for the results

Creatine and NO Xplode are 2 different things. The NO Xplode is a energy supp that has NO to vasodialate or open up the veins. Creatine helps the body to produce ATP wich is energy but also heps to move the protien into the cells. They should be used together.
