LOL. Cute pup. Looks like he's very interested in the programming.

but seriously.... I know they always yell at kids for watching tv too much. Who ever they is.... but still... like, should i not let him watch it, is he like getting high or w.e. from the tv, I always thought dogs never recognized 3d things on 2d objects (like the tv)

anyone else dog watch tv?

I thought the same thing. I didn't think they could really see it. I don't really think its hurting anything. Keeps him occupied and quiet.

Both of my dogs watch tv. My puppy I think likes news, but he will watch anything. The working one likes cop shows and if they pull out a k9 he goes nuts barking when the one on tv does, he stops when the one on tv does. He also perks up and looks around when the sirens go.

When we leave the house we turn it on for them. I think it has to do with the noise and changing picture.

A big THANK YOU to AmbuGrl and Mudvain for upgrading me.

Yes, I'm a girl, I drive a TJ and like to get it dirty. Yes, I like boys. Get over it.

i've had dogs in the past who would watch tv with me but they wouldn't watch it for very long. whenever i would flip to animal planet the dog AND the cats would crowd into the living room and watch tv.

something about birds and small rodents makes cats and dogs go ape****... even if they appear to be 10 times their true size.

my moms cats all crowd around the tv and try to eat the birds that are on the screen, its the funniest **** to watch other than watching them chase the laser pointer.

It's only weird if he starts kicking back on your recliner and drinking your beer.

Right now, it's cool.

Our bulldog loves the Discovery channel and Animal Planet. She goes crazy when any other animal is on the screen. Any dog bark on TV sets her off, too.

Sundevil, I think that pretty much sums up your thread from the other day. TV has degraded to the point now that dogs can comprehend it!

My dogs get to watch whatever they want on TV as long as they get their homework done!
