Which Jeep to buy?

I have two available and they both look sweet and have some great details.

1 - a 1991 cherokee 4dr 4x4 w 145k miles for $2500 *2 owner

2 - a 1996 chereokee country 4dr 4x4 w 125k miles for $5500 *one owner

... both are stock.

Throw me some ideas to get me off the fence before I option buying both!

Thanks. WyoQuest.

all things being equal I would get the older one and use the difference in money for upgrades but you should ask over here first.

I'm not all that up on XJ's, but I'd look for one with fuel injection. (I know older YJ's were carbed... not sure about XJ's?) And I also an not sure if any XJ's had the 4 banger in them?? If so, I'd hold out for 4.0. Darn near bullet proof if not abused and too high miles!
