Fox 2.0 Performance IFP bow tie connection removal???

Hello everyone.
I have a 1999 TJ and just recently ordered all 4 Fox 2.0 Performance IFP shocks. The old shocks are very rusted and the bolts will most likely have to be grinder out. I started in the rear and as you may have guessed the top bow-tie mounts are rusted out and missing and the previous owner had the rear shocks mounted to the frame at the top. The Fox 2.0ís have bow-tie mounts on them, does anyone have experience removing them so you can mount the shock to the frame?
