Anti-Jeep rant

Sorry, need to let off some steam.

Every time I go to a Jeep dealership they send my name into Sirius and I get a three-month trial subscription. I get mail from them every week, followed by weekly phone calls and, if it happens to get sent in, emails. Sirius is relentless, they refuse to remove my name form their system, they refuse to stop the harassment. Eventually, usually after six months, they give up...until I go back to a dealership, then it all starts again.

I called Jeep about this, they deny it. They called the most recent dealership, who denies it. So, apparently Sirius has the dealerships bugged and the Jeep warranty system hacked. There is no other way that they would have the exact date of my service visit unless someone was informing them.

I am so pi$$ed at Jeep and their dealership network that I am seriously, after 40 years, considering every buying another Jeep product. My son has been real happy with his Subaru's and never gets this kind of treatment from them.

End of rant, thank.

So every time you have had the jeep at a dealers. You get a free trial 90 days. That works. free. See no down side here as long as its not tied into a CC that revolves at 90 days per month.

As for not buying another Fiat made product, already there. But not for the same reason.

Just the 6 months of harassing phone calls, and of course, like any good spammer, their Caller ID doesn't say Sirius, they fake a local number.

Stop going to Dealership ?

I bought a spam phone call blocking device. Push the red button and it blocks all future calls from that number. It stores 1,500 numbers.

Except for warranty items I have, unfortunately for warranty and recalls you have to go to the dealers.

1,500 doesn't seem enough. I have one as well, but their number isn't always the same. They're like the credit reduction calls you get, always a different number.
