I have a friend that fishes allot from his. Between his two sons and their families they have 5 or 6. His go to boat is a Hobie with pedal drive. It has lots of aftermarket goodies, fish finder, Go-pro cameras and a pole that will go done and stick in the sand to keep the yak still. I got to try it out on a local reservoir and it is nice but I prefer his sit on top. It just handled better but it could be the operator. Loaded, I bet it weighs over 100 lbs. He has a jetski trailer rigged out to carry 4 with all the gear. Wish I lived closer to water

The wife and I are into kayaking with our friends. I've got a 2015 Hobie Outback. She won't let me upgrade her from her 13' pelican. I've also got a 12' Jackson cruise that I let friends use. We go out several times a year. Mostly river floats. They vary between 4 hours and 10hrs with at least one overnight "great kayak adventure" per year where about 18-30 of my friends do a 40 mile trek down a different river each year. We bring everything we need on the kayaks. (That's a lot of beer lol. )
