What has happened to wkjeeps.com? It has changed radically. Used to be a good reference source.

whois indicates that the new owner took over on July 6.

Maybe the old owner kept the content, but sold the domain name?

I just registered wkjeeps.io - I'll see if I can get in touch with the former owner.

It looks liked the new owners updated the site, which is not a bad thing just different, I liked the way that is was.

I guess you didn't click through to any of the 'content'? 2005 WK sends me to the wj info.

It was my first site to check for anything related to WK. Seriously I am really sad.

This doesn't strike me as a crappy redesign, it strikes me as the rollout of something new where big money wasn't paid to a seasoned professional to ensure everything worked and linked perfectly prior to launch. I found one of the links I clicked on took me to ZJ engines. I'm no web designer but to me, that doesn't mean that it will never be a good resource again or that the new layout is horrible compared to the old, its simply that we are catching it in the middle of the changeover and there are some bugs that need to be worked out. The fact that it is getting a facelift says someone cares about it. If you think about it, why go through the effort to do all this changeover for it to be abandon and forgotten mid process (not saying it doesn't happen sometimes).

I found that the information is still available on the web archive but who knows for how long. http://web.archive.org/web/202104290...w.wkjeeps.com/

It's a shame that the old site is gone. There was a ton of info. You may be able to find the same info somewhere in the site, but it's a crap site.

Just bumped into this 'update', what was wrong with how the site worked before? It had a very simple and effective interface and site url, what an unnecessary change.
