WK Jeep Please Help have a Clunk noise!

2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7L V8 Hemi engine, Quadra Drive II. When I drive my jeep for a short drive as I begin to come to a stop, it starts to make a click/clunk noise. Now, the noise only starts under 20mph AND when I let off the gas. It clicks/clunks even if I turn the wheel or press on the brakes. However IF I step on the gas a bit and accelerate the noise goes away. When I start the vehicle and first drive it around it makes no noise, it seems to have to be driven for a while before the click/clunk starts to sound. This happens on a daily basis and I donít know where its coming from. I hope someone can give me some helpful feedback.
Thank you.

1. Only after its driven for a bit.
2. Only under 20mph
3. Only when I left off the gas

Here is a link to youtube video I posted showing the noise it makes: https://youtu.be/ynbNSK6IX4Y

I didn't hear any sound from the video, but my jeep wk had similar symptoms. Turned out my parking brake pads were loose and I just JB welded them back on. Might be worth looking into.

Good luck.

I have not had this problem on my Jeep yet but it sounds to me like a CV joint beginning to go bad.

If this so, you may not notice it while going fast or straight....but going slow and turning corners you will hear it. It will get worse and worse. If it totally fail it will make loud clunking and bumping.

We used to have several 1985 Renaults with front wheel drive and CV joints. They frequently went bad (they were Renaults) and when a joint when bad that is exactly the sound it would make.

But.... since we are talking Jeeps, this is only my best guess.
