What's the mileage on your CRD?

My '08 JGC Overland CRD is a work vehicle. I do around 50,000km (31,000 miles) a year. I could try selling it or trading it in but I'm not ready for that yet. There's still too much I love about it that keeps me from letting it go, in spite of the issues associated with a vehicle (ANY vehicle) with high mileage. It's really more of a love/hate relationship - more love than hate.

I recently just passed 340,000km (~211,000 miles). Original engine. Original transmission.

Edited to include the most recent services (as others have done):
- replaced fuel tank (last month)
- replaced turbo actuator (this weekend)

What's your CRD mileage?

Hi, I've got 169,000 miles on my 2007. Bought it with 128k. Replaced the alternator at 160k, and the turbo actuator at 165k. Runs really good with no problems.

I'm at 158,000 miles on my 2007. Bought it at 142,000 miles in March... I've had a few no-start issues, but I think those are now ironed out. I've replaced Crank/Cam sensors, timing chain, and discovered a broken lock on a 48-pin connector (which I believe was the main issue the entire time).

I also replaced the turbo actuator with the G-001 part from Amazon a few months ago.

just maintenance and add-on parts
only part that went out was the swirl motor (at 39k)
maintenance includes those copper O-rings on the injectors.

265,000km (165k-mi) - bought in 2011 with 120,000km (75k-mi)

Engine oil changes every 15,000km
Diesel fuel filter changes every 20,000km
Surpentine belt replaced @ 160,000km
Coolant replaced @ 235,000km
6x injectors replaced @ 255,000km

Also lost engine temperature sensor, swirl motor, 1x front shock absorber, failed AC condensor, 6x glow plugs, 2x rear discs

Remains an awesome vehicle

Suspect timing chain wear currently - not sure what life is expected from the chain, chain guides and tensioner - anyone who has info on this or done a replacement?

240,000 km on my 2008.5. Suspension, CV shafts, conductor plate, accessory pullies/belt, front diff, and a few glow plugs so far. It will be decision time when the oil cooler has problems. If it happens during the winter I'll be in trouble and I don't want to preemptively give up 20 hours of my summer either.
I drive about the same amount as you.

I purchased 07 in 08 when it had only 11,000 miles on it. Now it has 149,000.

Oil Pressure Sensor (13,000)
Crank Position Sensor (11,500)
Shocks all around (used Bilsteins) - recently
Rear Brakes - Last year
Alternator - (2x - on my third one)
Swirl Motor (install GDE tune) - (56,000 I think)
Turbo Actuator (96,000 I think)
Complete dealer lube at (100,000) (Won't do that again)
Oil, Filters, as required
Air Ventilation Gear replaced
NO N23 or followup....I'm original

The amazing thing to me is the front brakes.... I'm still using the original pads and rotors, and they are still good...yes they work.... I've logged over 30,000 towing.

140,000 miles on my 08 CRD. Bought at 89,000 three years ago. Diff fluids changed when I got it. Then deleted the kidney. On my 3rd Turbo Actuator. CB-E Intercooler, Bosch Alternator, Reman Power Steering Pump and hoses. All new glow plugs. 7500m Oil changes. New brakes (today).
Gonna do a tranny fluid change next week when I can move again.
Have a total love-hate relationship with this car.
