Next is to do some test cuts in the aluminum to make sure we get our feed speed and bit right and this will hopefully be aluminum by the end of the week.

@JeepN_A_CJ7 Hahaha, Thank you! So far the project is living up to the expectations I've had in my head. Not quite done yet but its getting close!

Yee-haw! Re-flowed my REC video board (black one above dvd reader) to get my stereo/gps going again. Followed directions @ http://www.computerrepairtips.net/ho...p-motherboard/ . Works as good as new now, time will tell if it holds.

Screen would go black, whatever source it was on could not be changed. It stayed black longer each time - the last time for a 3,000 mile trip.

I took a recovering mall crawler off road. Before I've switched the wheels to a more useful offset, of course. Blew out both front fenders, cracking the paint and some sheet metal go tweaked on the rear wheel well that had to be beat back with a hammer so it didn't slice my tires. So honestly it went about how I expected, haha. Oh, and fine scratches everywhere.

Definitely noticed that the OME lift felt way better than the spacer lift.

Working on wiring this weekend... Im over it.

I'm pleased with the final product. Still gotta finish welding up the rack mounts and put a little shape to em. Then take it all back apart and paint everything. I have more switches coming, I was short one to fill the switch panel up top and I ordered enough to keep the switches the same in my sagaro switch panel. I also have 2 connectors (taped to the harness in the picture) for rear mounted lights. I have some super crappy pods that will probably end up mounted on the rear cross bar facing the rear. The large orange connector in the top right of the rack picture is a 6 pin connector that plugs into a pass through connector I window welded and riveted to the roof.

Tomorrow I am bringing in the ECU mount to work to weld up the corners and prep for paint.

That is nice work. Hopefully you can get out of the garage without adding ballast!

Hahaha. Height verified in and out of the garage, no ballast needed. I do intent to put a weatherproof rifle case up top (potentially 2, one on each side). I don't intend to leave them on all the time but it is worth measuring to see if I fit in the garage with them bolted up.

I unfortunately got into a motorcycle wreck last week. Guy cut me off and forgot the had a trailer I guess. When I got a hold of the wife to meet me at the hospital, her car wouldn't start. So WK for her until I can drive again. Got some new hardware I'm going to try out...

Completed my 90K service on 2009 4.7L GCL, upper plugs, coil boots and PCV and visual inspection and serving what's needed. plan on doing pinch weld mode when doing lower plugs. May have to change plugs early. Haven't been able check with 2" lift and wheel & tire setup with 32". sight contact at 75% lock to lock drivers side and that mean could be loose inter fender plastics. New to me 11/19 modification followed.
Having to do my own update service inserts for 16 plug Power Tech engine and chassis build.

I had the 2nd bunny run under the WK while driving this year without squashing it. I was following my wife driving the Honda and one flew past her one evening. It's furry madness out there! There are 4 living in the back yard too. They are starting to really stress me out...

Fitted some new smoked taillights. They are the same brightness as the OEM taillights despite the smoked lense. Sorry about them being sideways

At first I thought you painted white then realized it was still raw. Have you considered powder coating white? Might look sweeet

What brand are these?

I fixed my LEDs from Spyder tonight, again. They are super flimsy crap. The solders are shot or the contacts aren’t done well. I have to take the lights out and reseat the connections.
Bought a new pair but they send me “clear” ones so I’m sending them back.

Taught my boys how to do oil changes on the ZJ and the WK. The ZJ oil change costs 1/3rd - 😄.
We also did Air filters on both cars and
Brakes on the ZJ.
Stabilizer bushings on the WK and repaired the tail light.

When in lock down there are no more excuses 😄.
