TPMS Display

I can't see any important info in my display like MPG, trip meter, etc because the dead sensor battery in one of my tires forces the TPMS display to always be on. Does anyone have a work around, besides replacing the senor in the tire? It's frustrating. It'd be great if there was an on/off in the menu for TPMS.

On mine, it wont go away permanently but it will go away for a minute or so if I tap the "STEP" button. For me that's enough time to get the information I want out of the display.

FWIW I have the TPMS Warning for my spare as well, but also "Check Gas Cap" because I bent the filler tube opening breaking off a locking gas cap whose key went missing.

You could just get the J scan app and a Bluetooth OBD reader. It gives you the ability to deactivate the TPMS.

The AlfaOBD app and a Bluetooth OBD reader. It gives you the ability to deactivate the TPMS also, as another option (I have both J-Scan and AlfaOBD) and works with Android and Windows based phones and tablets.

I don't see that app in the Windows store. Any idea how much it is?

Go to the AlfaOBD site, and then to Downloads and Purchase.

Download the app and install, from there you can chose the 'Buy Now' button option.

I do not know how much it cost anymore.

AlfaOBD is for windows PC or for android phone. OP says they have a windows phone so that won't work for them... but then again, windows phones haven't been sold/updated since 2015. OP you actually have a windows phone? you really aren't going to find anything that runs on that.

there's no cap sensor, it is detecting that by the evap system not working correctly. you should fix that - you are venting gasoline vapor to the atmosphere (your $$$ going into thin air) and letting the ethanol in the gas suck up water from the humidity in the air.

Yup, Lumia 950 - best phone made. Windows 10. I looked at the AlphaOBD and don't think it'll even be able to load on this phone. That's too bad.
I have thought about changing to a Android phone but each one I looked at is a step down from what I have and also the reviews are bad about the OS. Plus I am not going to pay $1400 for a phone with 5G when we don't have 5G close to us.

Sorry ALL, I was looking at this line before I posted:
"Windows Mobile ver. 1.8.9: AlfaOBD for Windows Mobile PDA"

I use the AlfaODB app with a Kindle Fire HD tablet. If you don't have one of those, you can pick one up pretty cheap. Or any android tablet would do as long as it has wifi and bluetooth.
