Seeking Advice: Dissassembly of Interior Door Lever

I have a 2006 WK and the plastic holding the interior door levers has fatigued and cracked. I snagged new door cards from the salvage yard, but it kinda looks like these plastic door lever assemblies are plastic welded. Is that right?

Any way to transfer parts from one panel to the other? My WK is a Limited, and the donor vehicle was a Laradeo and is not a direct swap (example, no memory seat buttons).

If anyone know how to disassemble these components in a way that can be reassembled, your knowledge would be greatly appreciated. See photos:

Note: yes, I have both left and right panels!

You are better off ordering new door handles. Very easy to replace and come 4 to a set. My 4 year old grand son helped me do it.These have metal backing instead of all plastic. They look great.

Oh wow! I had no idea it was such a common issue. I ordered new ones through Amazon, that actually match my Limited (chrome levers).
Thank you so much for the suggestion and the Youtube link that showed how much to cut off. This is a big help!
