Mopar Part Number Manual/Lookup for 2008 GC

Hello All and thanks for your assistance in advance.

I have noticed with my 08 GC Limited and looking up part numbers on different dealer sites that there are now many discontinued part numbers. Ok, fine I get that, but, how can you find original part numbers? For instance - now that some of the parts are discontinued, the part numbers have changed. If anyone remembers 10+ years ago, you used to be able to find a parts manual for every vehicle. Of course outdated soon, but at least you had original part numbers. I guess my question is - I need new wheels, among other things. Supposedly my part number for the wheels for this vehicle is - 1DG86PAKAA according to a mopar website, but I found the following - 1DG87PAKAA - once digit off(7) even though the parts seem the same. Anyway to find out if it was superceeded, will these work, difference, etc? Are there still parts manuals available or a way to look up original parts?

Thanks,
Chris

Here's a link to the parts manual for your WK:

Jeep didn't used to copyright them so all the WK ones are easy to find. Everything later, not so much

The AA is the revision number of the part unless they went to a totally different part. They will go to AB after AA, etc.
