Largest Tires on 18" Wheels

Hey guys. I have a 2010 North Edition and it comes stock with 18" wheels. I was wondering what the largest tire I can fit with and without mods?

I know someone who has a set of 265/65/18 KO2's and wanted to know if I can get them on before going to the mechanic. I have no problem doing the pinch weld mod and adding 1.5" spacers if need be. A modest lift would be coming eventually.

Thanks guys!

That tire is going to need a mild lift first. PW and a spacer as well. 1" spacer is plenty. More spacer = more PW rub.

Does anyone know the largest tire you can fit without a lift or spacer mod? If just adding spacers, what kind of extra clearance would I receive?

You might be able to cram that size of a tire without lift if you go more tame on the tread design. The BFG AT's are a pretty meaty and square cornered tire that eats up room. I ran a 255/60-18 at stock height. It's not much bigger than stock, but I thought it looked good without being too 'stuffed'. Any larger than that and you need to address the upper ball joint stud by trimming or using spacers.

I run 265/65-18 now but have 2" or maybe a bit more lift. 1.25" spacers on my Jeep and I've massaged the PW some.

Check the sticky, it lists the sizes that fit. Factor in any sag you have from old springs.

You're going to think I'm crazy, but I cant seem to locate this stick you're referring to.
