I called today and spoke to a young lady named Stephanie, and she informed me to talk to the dealer and have them contact STAR regarding the problem, so when mine fails again (did the fuse pull - which worked) I will do just that, I had everyone's case # logged with mine and hopefully when I call again, I can give them more, she said the more that call, the more likely something will happen with this.

Keep the info coming!
I emailed the reporter at Autoweek who wrote about the issue in Feb 2014. He asked jeep owners to inform him of issues.

I sent 2 emails pointing back to these threads still no response from Mr.
kozak.

Here is his request for feedback along with his email address:
We'll be sure to bring you any updates if and when they become available. In the meantime, please contact Autoweek ([email protected]) if you have an affected vehicle and manage to get it repaired -- or if another trip to the dealer leaves you stuck with a faulty 4WD system.

How funny! I did the same thing yesterday with 13 other links included. Maybe he's just buried under emails...

Don't get N23, set parking brake every time.

Get N23, don't need to set brake, but lose 4Low.
I have a 2005 5.7l I get calls and emails to get the jeep recall I tell them I use my parking brake and I like my 4low to work. They have stopped calling me.

Case # 252 150 22 June 24 2014

Same symptoms as the rest of us. In my case the TCAM has been replaced but nothing else. At least the fuse pull workaround works.

SOLD, July 2018 - 2008 Overland Diesel QDII, Thanks for the 6 1/2 years of help!
