Fuel leak

Driving my kid to hockey today smoke started coming from every where. I found a fuel line disconnected at a joint. I reattached it but it seems to be a weak spot. Can anyone tell me what this joint is called? Is this a common problem?

That's not an original clamp on there, looks like someone cut the fuel return line at some point and put that one on there. To the best of my knowledge it's only available as a complete return line assembly, you'll want to replace all the injector return o-rings as well (cheap from Mercedes).

Yes, I thought it looked off. I've found the FRL online for a decent price but the o-rings are proving more difficult.

IDParts should sell them but with the cost of shipping your local Mercedes dealer should be cheaper overall.

Idparts is out of stock. I will call the dealership on Monday to see if they have them.

Looks someone broke the original and epoxied a connector on there as well.
