Front end creaking.
I have a creak from the front end that is slowly getting worse. First it would creak while accelerating and sometimes creak while braking. Now it's even started creaking while turning, but almost never while over bumps. The entire suspension is new. Struts, springs, upper and lower control arms, tie rod ends, and the sway bar has been removed. It was present before and after the suspension was replaced. I inspected the tcase mounts and they don't show any signs of wear or damage. What else can I check? Is seems to be coming from the driver's side, but I can not duplicate it on a rack. The jeep has to be in motion. Are there subframe mounts? Steering gear mounts? Possibly an engine mount?
I'm starting to think it is brake related. I had nasty rotten old brakes and they were leaving pre-load on the rotors at all times so it was amplifying the lash in my driveline. Well, that's my theory anyway.
