Engine Temperature High due to HOT AC

(This post is an update to my previous post.)

I recently noticed that the AC fan noise has become louder. When I drive on the highway, the AC pushes out cold air. However, when the car is at normal city speed, the air is warm (passenger's side warmer), and the dashboard eventually gives the reading "transmission over temperature." Today, the engine temperature even got too high that the car wouldn't start again until I let it cool off. On the way home, I didn't turn on the AC (hot Houston day -.-). This time, it didn't give me the "trans over temp" reading and the engine temperature was perfectly normal.
I don't think this is due to a coolant leakage which is common on WKs. I searched through the internet and some similar posts say it might be due to the compressor which adds heat to the engine when it doesn't work properly?

*UPDATE:
The radiator fan is not working.

Omg this os what happened to me. We replaced thermostat and radiator and rebuilt the water pump. Some sucess for now. I figured this was unrelated to my ac issue as I replaced stuck doors on my 99. I was going to tell you that until I saw you were having the same issues I just posted about. Keep us updated. I told my bf to check your posts in am.

Wow... o.0 How much did it cost you (parts & time)? I don't have the skills/tools to fix something like this so I am taking it to a mechanic shop this week, but I will check the radiator today when the AC is on!
Thanks!
