Electronic Throttle Control Warning Light-- Weird

So on Saturday Night the ETC warning Light came on (blinking)... the vehicle would still drive but acceleration was slow (it could drive at normal speeds, but it would take long to get there)

Anyways, I checked all the fuses (as I used to have a problem with my tail light fuse blowing all the time and it would cause the light to come on as well (but not blinking).. All the fuses were good..

I decided to check the power steering fluid (related to the AC fan not always activating not the ETC issue) and it was below the ADD line.. I bought some synthetic stuff yesterday and added to the bottom of the add line (it was not an approved stuff so did not want to add too much.. in all about 10-20 ml were added of non factory stuff)

Anyways, the light remained on and blinking everytime we tried yesterday.. (it would start normal and accelerate normal for about 10 seconds then it would come on and do the decreased accel issue)

Today I come out and the light is no longer on and I have had the car going on 3 different occassions..

Is it possible (in some strange universe) that the Computer sensed the low PS Fluid pressure and threw the warning? Or was it my prayer for God to heal my vehicle??

Sounds like another swirl motor failure. Pull the codes. If you have P2015 then you probably have a swirl motor failure.

I dont have a code reader.. and I dont want to pay for a read if I dont have to

I read about the Swirl motor issues and was praying hard that it would not require a fix, because that is pricey

You can get your own code reader for about $40 or most auto parts stores in the US will pull the codes for free. It takes 2 min. You will need to do this if you want to know what is wrong as it sounds like God hasn't told you yet.

So I bought a code reader that I found for $50 at Walmart

I plugged it in and I had 3 codes p2010 p2015 and P0571

I erased the codes and turned the engine light off..

The only code that keeps showing is P2010 with a P after it (space between the P and the 0).. It lists it in the Pending, so I assume the P means pending

This code is not listed in the book (nor is the p2015) any idea what these codes are?

Found this site to do DTC code look up

http://www.actron.com/code_lookup.php

The DTC P2010 is "Intake Manifold Runner (Swirl) Control Circuit High"

So I assume that is the Swirl Motor.. it is not causing the engine light to remain illuminated after I cleared it though.. And the lightning bolt has been off for a couple days

yeah, darn, I would say your swirl motor has failed. eventually the vehicle will stay in limp mode and you won't be able to clear the code.
