Electronic Throttle Control question

On the weekend I took out a 2007 Grand Cherokee Overland CRD for a test drive from a used car dealer. On the test drive the ETC light came on and I had limited throttle response.
When I got back to dealership I had to explain to salesman what the light was and he said he would have it looked at.
Salesman phoned back tonight and said they put a new battery in and problem was repaired. When I asked what the code was that came up when scanned he said it was P0562 and that the low voltage was causing the problem.
I was wondering if anyone has had this ETC light on caused by low voltage.

From my experience low voltage will throw all kinds of seemingly unrelated codes on these..
