commander stalling issue? widespread?

So I have a question for, well anyone that would know I guess. I love the commander, I currently drive an XJ and the commander would be it's next upgrade in a heartbeat, except for the stalling issue i keep reading about. So what I'm asking is, does anyone know how widespread it is? Are you fairly likely to get a commander w/ stalling issues, or are most of them fine? Does anyone have any idea what the ratio is? Like 1/1000 or something? I'm probably paranoid because it's posted around here quite a bit, but if I didn't know about JF than I would probably have no idea the problem existed in the first place! So anyone w/ any info, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks!

alot of the time the stalling is coming from the way the keys hang down. Its fairly easy to hit the keys with your knee and turn it off, making you think it has stalled when it really hasnt. This happened to me a few times early on because i have a carabiner on my keys. I removed and it there hasnt been a "stall" since. So i think the stalling issue is less of an issue than people make it out to be. The issue is in the design of the keyhole not really an issue of actual stalling.

I know exactly what you're going through.
I just bought my Commander in June I was afarid of that same thing because I read quite a bit about it but I took a gamble and got one anyway. It's a brand new 07 Sport with the 3.7 V6.
The first week I had it, sure enought on the New York State thruway I moved my leg up, bumped they key and shut the car off. It took me a couple of seconds to realize what happened. Then I realized what I had did, lowered the seat, and I haven't done it since.
Def go buy one, this has been the best vehicle I have ever owned. My only regret is not getting the 4.7 engine.
