bluetooth audio for WK?

I really miss having bluetooth audio in the WK. Was looking at aftermarket radios but from what I've read there are very few options for a 2008+ WK with the uconnect radio. Is there any way to install a normal 2 DIN unit in these?

You can put pretty well any aftermarket double din head unit in, you just have to give up uconnect for the new stereo's bluetooth

Donít you have an aux jack on the 08 head unit? Rear DVD player will work too... For like $5-10 you can buy a Bluetooth receiver that plugs in...

What model radio do you have now? It'll be a three digit code somewhere on the face plate of the stock radio, For your year probably down in the lower right. RBN etc.

2008 with premium sound should be this right?

http://www.wkjeeps.com/wk_nav_2.htm

Personally, I'd consider rip and replace. I'm already on my second deck in my WK with REC nav. I ripped that thing out, sold it for 500 bucks and couldn't have been happier. Although 2008 I think had more options if you had the premium option. USB, hard disk space, and some other junk.

But really, you want Carplay or Android Auto. Bluetooth options and that's about it... Any DVD-based GPS gets stale pretty quick, and we already have Waze on our phones through Carplay

You'll also replace the UConnect mic with one that's well-hidden and well-installed in the headliner console.

Thx guys, I was always under the impression a double DIN aftermarket would only fit in the 05-07 WKs - Iíll look into that thread...

Definitely check it out. Especially with a Diesel, the added gauges you gain on the deck come in really handy. Especially boost pressure, intake air temp, and EGT. The EGT alone can tell you when the car is in regen and boost pressure can tell you when you have a leak.
