I desperately need to get around to taking my side trim and window trim off and painting it. Doing too much maintenance right now. Any tips for when I do get around to it. Is there any easy way to get the trim on the door off without taking the inside door panel off. If not oh well. And how does the window trim come off. Thanks for any tips. I usually just go yanking on stuff but I don't want to break any exterior trim.

Thanks for the add, I had some plastidip around so just hit the trim with that. Will probably paint it properly when it peels off except my other plastidipped trim has stayed on for a while. Wheels are Pro Comp 52 series 17x8, 4.5 offset. Just got them from 4wheels parts for $250. Sold my spacers today for $150 so its a $100 upgrade for me, that is until I sell my old tires and wheels so will probably come out ahead.

No need to do all that, check out this thread:

As for the window trim, you'll have to paint that on the vehicle since its part of the glass I believe.

Thanks, they are the stock headlights I pulled apart, painted them and installed my own custom halos.

You can read about them in my build thread here:

Welcome to the cheap, plastic, chrome overland wheels club. I'm thinking about starting a club for those of us who are pissed about buying what is supposed to be the upgraded package, yet it comes with plastic wheels.
