My 2005 is not home right now, but I'm also certain its at location #1 on the diagram below. Might need a small hex socket to turn it. The early model year WK's starting at 2005 had that cover noted as #2 on the diagram that can be removed for easier access. New models had that cover deleted.

L and R is lower and raise. I think I read about that causing some confusion before in regards to headlight adjustment on our WKs

Most cars do not have left and right adjustment anymore. My 2006 Daytona and my 06 Grand Cherokee only have up and down. In fact, even my 2013 Focus only has up and down adjustment.

Another little tip, if you're adjuster doesn't work, you can try tightening it all the way down. You may be able to re seat the adjuster and bring it back to life. You'll hear a loud pop if it goes back into place.
