easiest cheapest - would be sell current jeep and buy another with the desired combination.

Also depending on where you live emission regulations may limit what engine you can swap to,
might want to check before spending, I hear some regs are draconian.
acabtp and underscore like this.

When I see the price of OEM I think aftermarket.
When I see the quality of aftermarket I think OEM.

Big question is, how much money are you willing to spend?! Plus I highly doubt the cost will be worth the effort, especially trying to convert your a Laredo to a SRT......

Always Jeepin!

Sell it and buy an '09-10 5.7 Hemi. My '09 Hemi did 5.9s 0-60 completely stock and you could do it a little quicker with a CAI and a tune. If you want to go faster than that go buy a sports car

I agree that unless you are very experienced and have lots of time for research, changing engine and trans in a post-1999 Jeep can be complicated and make emissions tests and other things difficult. V-8 Jeeps have suspension and other improvements that are matched and create the overall performance package. Our 2011 with 5.7 performs beautifully

Money no issue/ Buy a track hawk G/C. Doing it to your jeep dont make sense even if you had the money. They gave the best advice, buy a V8 and sell the 3.7.

The old saying, if you have to ask how much, you cant afford it.

99.9% of these type post go nowhere.
