Just got my first car now the road, a WJ

Hey all! Newbie here, just bought my first car and figured this was the place to come to ask questions. I got a 2004 grand cherokee special edition with the 4.0 engine and the 4wd option.

So I want to do some moderate offroading. I would like to get a good 4in lift kit but from what I read I need to change my front drive shaft? With this lift what is the recommended tire size specs? How much should I expect to spend to get this suspension lift plus installation? I've read and experienced death wobble in my friends lifted wrangler and want to do my lift right to avoid death wobble. Can someone go through the basics of lifting this car and what I'll need to get? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

DW can happen to ANY straight axle design even a 2x4. With enough wear or out of specs. The best way to not get death wobble from the lift might be to understand whats going on and tires balance plays a huge effect in this.. Playing wack a mole to fix it is ok if you have enough $$$$. What lifts best might be better asked in the specific forum for your generation Jeep.
