Good Bye, at least for now

I realize this section of forum is normally for introductions, but it also seems like a good place for a good bye.

I had a minor heart operation last March. It knocked me down for a few months. When I started feeling better I had a lot of catching up to do at work. I'm the IT and online marketing manager for several real estate, and two medical, companies (each owned by the same parent corp). So lots of catch-up at work after laying around for a couple months.

For a few months, I didn't have any time for my Jeep, nor Jeep forum, and to be real, I no longer feel well enough for 4 wheeling due to my severe arthritis, which got worse while layed up after the heart operation. Laying around isn't good for arthritis.

Anywho, after many months away from my Jeep, and JeepForum, I have to admit that I didn't miss either one. I've moved on to more sedate activities (no more bone jarring off road trails) in my personal life and I'm still very busy at work, especially lately on photography (for website marketing of real estate). Photography is both my hobby and an important part of my job that I'm payed to do . Photography is keeping me quite entertained and it's physically challenging when handicapped.

I don't know if I'll sell my Jeep or not, but to be completely honest, I'm more interested in comfortable luxury cars, nice cameras and lenses, computers, web design and SEO, and relaxing. I no longer enjoy bouncing down a trail. Trail riding (with arthritis) is torture.

So I've moved on from Jeeps, at least for now. I might return to it in future. I don't know.

I still get emails about my JeepForum threads wanting to know if I monitor them. I do not actively monitor them, but I do get emails from JF telling me someone posted in one of my threads and showing me what they posted. Occasionally I read them, but I rarely reply.

So I'm slightly monitoring my threads due to receiving those notification emails, but I'm not actively nor reliably monitoring them since I don't always read those emails.

Generally people post in my AT thread or gas mileage thread wanting advice. I don't usually respond to the AT thread because Mschi and others are doing a great job of giving advice there and I have no additional info to add. I occasionally respond to my Gas Mileage thread.

Have a good Summer everyone.

Warning: I often edit my posts a few times to get them complete or correct errors.

Best wishes, Charley! Get your Park Avenue looking good then take some fancy shmancy photos of it. I was a Caddy guy for awhile before being a Jeep guy--it was just as much fun in its own way, and I dabbled in photography once just enough to see how deep that rabbit hole can go as a hobby/art.

We may not always see eye to eye, but I'm good for that, just ask my wife. Anyway, take care of yourself. See ya 'round.

Just my opinion, yours will differ.
