One of the advantages people have with a new car purchase is the peace of mind that comes with new car warranties. But what if you didnít get the extended coverage?

Most manufacturers offer a decent basic warranty, ranging from three to five years of bumper-to-bumper coverage, with some longer warranties on drivetrain and roadside assistance. But, in order to take advantage of more competitive payments, the car payments now often stretch beyond the coverage of a standard warranty. This might leave you paying for a car thatís started to incur out-of-pocket repairs or replacements of non-maintenance related failures. Adding optional protection plans on your new car purchase might be a great additional peace of mind.
