2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Hi, I have a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 6 cylinder standard Laredo 4x4 with 154,00 miles, I need a front track bar. Does anyone have long term success with an front track bar beside a Mopar, really do not want to spend the money, I only drive about 4,000 miles a year and no off road, any help appreciated.

Wrong forum, feller, but my 2004 does just fine with a replacement from Autozone.

It's not the track bar that wears out, but the bushings.

It's just whatever Autozone carries. Duralast or whatever. It's OE equivalent.

I'll upgrade if I ever lift it more than a couple inches, but for now, not necessary.

This is late-to-need, but I bought a Moog on Amazon (~$65) and just completed the install yesterday. So far so good. That was NOT a walk-in-the-park job btw. Why Chrysler put that welded nut on the passenger/15-mm side.... ugh. That bolt is gonna’ rust out/freeze on, and that bolt will sheer. That was quite the job. Good luck.

I purchased a ACDELCO front track bar October 2020 from ROCKAUTO for $65.00 including shipping for my 2004 Grand Cherokee 4.0, was actually a little bigger than original Mopar front track bar. Did the job exact fit tightened up the steering, not an off roader so if you go off road you must upgrade.
