WJ with 2.5-3" lift and 31" or 32" tires

I can't picture what it would look like to lower my WJ from 4" to 3" or 2", I know I need to get rid of the 15x10 wheels with 33x12.5 tires; so I need to know what I'm looking at here.

Please send me some pics; if it's a green WJ, even better!

Here’s my daily driver—2000 4.0L 242,000 miles. I installed a 4.5” long arm lift from Rusty’s last summer with 33” BGFs. This weekend I am installing 1.25” spacers.

Here she is with 1.25” spacers (SpiderTrax). With the spacers I had to only cut some of the plastic bumper and the side trim but nothing that changed the look of the profile . My tires, 285 (32.8”) is the max size for the factory rims which I wanted to keep. Still figuring what to do with the spare—roof, rear mounted, or leave it in the shed. Any recommendations? Thanks.

That is one great looking WJ. I'm planning to get a 3-inch lift and after surfing this forum I will probably go with BFG KO's. Anything about your lift you don't like or would do differently?

All I can offer is for stability of a daily ride or for distance driving, I am glad I purchased long arms. At 4.5 inches it was big enough for larger tires I think look right for the size of the vehicle but not too big for a 4.0L daily ride. There was no extra modification needed except for the pitman arm. Get a good breaker bar or pipe extension and you might need to cut some sheet metal and the front plastic bumper but the work is minor. With the tires and the lift I can still fit is parking garages too. Every happy and I plan to keep it for another 20 years. Good luck with ur project and keep us posted.

Mine is 2" BDS , 245/75/16. No spacers. On full steering lock it almost touches inner fender. If I could do it over again I'd definitely do the BDS 4".

Looks good. This summer I also removed all the trim sanded, primed and painted it a few coats. So far so good. Doesn’t look cheap anymore. Will find some pics. Is that what u did too? Is that paint original?
