Diesel jeeps

Hi everyone!! I would like to see those diesel grand Cherokee Laredos,I don’t know if they made them but I’ve heard of them in my manual.

How about some older straight 6 cylinder diesels , I know they had them!!!

never heard nor seen of one, at least in the USA. The only straight six TD used by Fiat and Chrysler was the Cummin's used in the trucks? That is a very heavy large block and wont fit in a jeep to well. Rumor of one for newer models is going about. a 3l I6. But i would not hold my breath since they just tooled up for the V6TD.

The one you might be confused on is 3.0 V6TD started in o8?

Not from the factory, show me.

But a few have been done but custom with a I6 Cummings and the the 4bt and others. But as you can see to shoe horn in a 6.7 means cutting into the fire wall. But it makes it very nose heavy. as well the Uni body on a Xj would have to have serious reinforcement.

You can found some in France for example (from zj to now for the GC. On Cherokees too). Search on the website LeBonCoin . fr , where you can find some for sale, with pictures.
