35" tires on 15X12, 15X10 or 15X8 wheels

Looking for pictures of 35" BFG A/T tires on 15X12, 15X10 or 15X8 wheels. In particular looking for shots that will show difference in width and height of 35" tires on different wheels on the road. Planning on purchasing BFG A/T's and Mickey Thompson Classic II's before end of year and want to pick right combination. Really want to see 35's on 15X12's before choosing.
Thanks!

best choice for a 35x12.5 tire would be a 15x8" rim...you can do a 15x10 but to me they look too wide and stupid....definatly stay away from a 15x12 rim...

your 35x12.5 tire will acutally measure closer to 10" at the tread not 12.5

Yes, they are 15x12s. I personally don't like thin tires, I think they look HOMO. But to each his own, RIGHT 97TJGUZZY?

I agree with 97TJ, a 15x12 for most applications is just too wide. a 15x8 or even a 15x10 would be a better choice. If you are planning on airing down, I dont see a 15x12 holding a bead for too long. People run 13.5" witres on 15x8 and 15x10's without problem. If it's a 12.5" tire, I would stick with an 8" wheel. But to each his own.

unless of course you get a 14" wide tire! but i dont think they make those for 35's.

Heres a 35" Mud Rover with 15x8 rims. I dont know what you'd want with a 35" AT though.

Looks like there are 2 schools of thought. The wide rim (15X12) to make the tire more square... and the thin rim (15X8) to make the tires bubble and maybe a little better for off roading.

Thanks for the input so far.

That's a sharp looking Jeep there!

And you're right scrambler...wide or thin, it's your choice.
