Best Brake Upgrade for 1990 Grand Wagoneer

Have a super cherry 1990 Grand Wagonner that as most of you probably know, it doesn't stop worth a ****. Aside from the lack of power, it would sure be nice to do a brake upgrade. Please send me suggestions.....rear brake upgrade to discs or is there a complete kit that would make this beast stop when needed. Thanks in advance.....Eric

The most popular brake upgrade for grand Wagoneer is the hydroboost upgrade.

Search BJís Off-road for the details.

I donít have enough history/status to post the link apparently.

Description:

This is one of the best brake upgrades you can do to an FSJ! The stock vacuum booster (either single or double diaphragm) leaves a lot to be desired. This Hydroboost System uses power steering fluid to energize your system, completely replacing your Vacuum Booster. These kits come stock on New Heavy Duty and Diesel Trucks for their amazing stopping power!

What is the issue?
Hard pedal?
Mushy pedal?

Pulls?
Wheels locking up?
Long braking distances?

A Waggy with power brakes and front disks and a properly operating system should be able to stop more than adequately.
