84 Jeep Grand Wagoneer V8 Carb Question

Hi everyone,
It's been a while since I posted as there's been no time to work on the Jeep. Got it running today, had the carb rebuilt a couple months ago, but something is off. The heat/ choke stove broke off from the manifold. I was told I could run without it. Question is- Do I need to plug those holes to the manifold and openings I might need to plug on the carb. Does anyone have a diagram of how everything comes off the carb?
I put everything back together the way I found it, but the PO may have had it all wrong as it had not run in years. I would appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance!

The choke tubes inside the manifold are a closed loop and are fine as is. I don't remember how it connects to the carb as far as a vacuum leak is concerned but plugging the port couldn't hurt.

Plug whatever open port you have on the carb and you'll be fine.

The vacuum port will be where the pipe connects to the choke housing. You can bend the broken end of the pipe over, use a vacuum cap, or epoxy it shut.
Be sure you readjust your curb idle and idle mixture screws.
