'75 Cherokee Chief Drive Shaft Legnths w/lift ?

I'm going to swap my springs from "under" to over. I'm wondering if any of you, who have done this, have had issues with the drive shaft "slip" length or angle of yokes, while keeping original parts. I know that some rigs can get away with it, but I don't know about the FSJ's. Don't know if it would affect the Quadratrac either. They have pretty thick axles, so it would be close to a 4" lift from factory setting.

The rear should be OK, they are quite long and you will not get near binding.

Some people find the front still works but plenty others find it limits droop and is definitely too short. I have a Cherokee XJ automatic sourced front shaft.

SOA on front will need the steering mods, highsteer will be needed along with longer shocks and brake hoses. You may care to look at shackle flip on the rear.

How much lift you get depends on your rig, but should be nearer 6".

An alternative is to get a lift spring kit, but opinion is the ride is better on stock springs.
