bought a 1986 comanche around 4 months ago ran great for about a week until... the upper radiator hose blew up all over the engine (with rusty water) so bought a new hose. then all of a sudden the power steering pump went out so replaced that. then the starter went out replaced that. obviously the owner before me neglected the car before me anyone know anything to check and change before i get anymore surprises? and also its 2wd wanting to swap it to 4wd and i got 800$ is that enough? thanks.

I would first make sure everything is in proper running order first before I would attempt a 4wd swap. If you were to do a 4WD swap, $800 won't make it far where I'm from, especially if you rebuild the components before you put them in.

800 bucks will work just fine. Just start looking through the salvage yards and pick the nicer parts that you will need and you'll be fine! Ask me how I know!

Get in sit down and shut the F#%* up!
