Did the same thing, except i used 1" square tubing for my frame. Just back it in, remove the wings nuts and hoist it up!!!!

Thats a nice setup. Anything to help you remove that top by yourself is fantastic.

My garage ceiling is too low so I built a gantry with a harbor freight $12 winch. I added some 10" swivel casters after taking the photos

I built mine off of a tree that I can drive under

I set up a 2x4 arm to the side of a pine tree with 4 pulleys.





...still trying to find the best balance point, but at least I've turned it into a one man job.
