Grill insert

Change my grill to a gladiator grill on a JKU. My insert does not cover the gladiator openings. Do inserts come in different lengths? Or is there trick to cover the last holes on each end?

Most inserts are made for the stock Jeep 7 slot grille. If your kit didn't have enough pieces, it sounds like it was not the right kit.

You might have to figure out how to make a DYI piece.

My insert is a one piece mesh. Not pieces, I found one listed for a gladiator that is 1.25 in longer hoping that works if not then I will fabricate. Thanks

I suspect you will need to fabricate one. The grille you have is wider than a stock Jeep grille in the front opening. To me, it looks like that opening is wider than the 1.25" of extra material you are getting.

I’m thinking the same thing. I may end up cutting some off the second insert, or put a piece of black painted sheet metal to close it off.
