Warranty and Battery issues

Sorry if this has been covered before, but checking if others have had these issues. Just purchased a 2019 Cherokee Limited V6 in June. Currently it has 24,700 miles. According to jeeps records the 3yr/36,000 warranty expired last April. Not sure how that's possible if 2019's usually come out in September 2018.

2nd issue is that the battery has already failed, dealer won't cover it because warranty is expired. They want $450 to replace. They won't even prorate it. Anyone else have these issues?

If you just bought it in June of this year, you 3/36k is still good! (even if you bought it last June!) LOL
Bring in the paper work showing when you bought the Jeep, and make them correct it ASAP.....

Yes, the OEM Johnson Controls batteries suck. We had both replaced in the 2018, and 2019 under
the factory warranty. (3/36k)

Most people replace theirs with an X2 from Batteries Plus when out of warranty.

When we do right, no one remembers. When we do wrong, no one forgets.
