2016 rear latch

It's not a power lift or anything fancy, just the button, when I hit it outside it half realses but wont open the door. I popped the plastic off inside and saw nothing wrong with it. And I can't get the nuts underneath because the fuel tank is in the way. And advice it's a pain loading a stroller through the rear doors

buy a can of FLUID FILM and lubricate the latch ..

FLUID FILM is a lanolin based product containing no solvents. It will not evaporate or dry from the surface. FLUID FILM will leave a wet, non-drying film, that will provide long term corrosion protection on all metals and superior lubrication for all moving parts.
