Any runners in here

Just checking how many others run. Been seriously running for almost 2 years now, started with local 5k events started at 24 minute runs, now down slightly under 20 minutes. This year I started doing half marathons, and Im currently sidelined from my last event from breaking a bone in my foot. I also took on trail running, seen a few Jeeps at Trailheads. So much fun, its right up there with mountain biking to me. Was supposed to do Ragnar Trail in Zion, but the injury made me drink beer on the sidelines with my team. Im attemding Ragnar Tahoe and Texas this year, cant wait. 2 more weeks till I can start running, cycling , BMX and everything else I do once again.

I'm surprised no one else responded, evidently running isn't popular in this forum.

I run, both trail and on the road although trail is much more fun. I've not done a Ragnar but have done several Tough Mudders. I've been running for about 5 years and completed to my first 50k last year. Fairly sure I'm not going to do another one but maybe another marathon, I don't have the time to train up for one right now.

I have seen several Jeeps at the trail runs in Texas, lots of stuff to do outdoors here.

Yes, Trail is more fun. I did 3 Degrees of Hell last weekend, 3 events, 12 hours apart on trails and the temps for all the runs were over 100 degree temps. I did the 4 mile sprints instead of the 7 mile version as I’m still getting back to running shape from injury.

Then I’m packing up in the morning and heading to Tahoe for Ragnar.

50 miles, I’m looking at doing one late this year after Rock n Roll Marathon Vegas.

Figured I should post since I'll qualify but not for long.

Spent the last few months training for a half marathon this coming weekend.

I learned alot, but mostly I learned that a half marathon is WAY more than I want to be running. But I signed on, so I'm going to do it.

After that....5 and 10k's only. I like keeping my toenails.

I absolutely enjoy running, however, after getting my first road bike, that has taken more precedence when choosing how to exercise. I live in Texas and we have very good running/biking trails, which is very enjoyable!

You're more dedicated than me. I'm running HM #3 in a couple weeks at Disney and it'll be the last for awhile.

I get bored at mile 8

DNF at mile 14 with 2800 feet of climbing. Hip flexor went south, next race is Blood, Sweat and Beers
