maintenance on 2007 jeep cherokee laredo

Hello all,

I have a pre-owned 2007 jeep cherokee laredo that has recently been given a decent list of things that need attention. The previous owners didn't have such issues so I wanted to see if other jeep owners could verify if these are normal/ to be expected.
The car has almost 178,000 miles.

Right rear axle seal leaking (is this a common issue with the car?)
Transmission fluid service (is this normal for a car of this age?)
T-case fluid change (the car is AWD, the mechanic said it needs to be flushed)
Both front lower ball joints starting (can cause issues with the rest of the car)

All in all, I was quoted about $1,500- does that seem fair?

Thank you in advance for the help and advice!
