How to DELETE a post?

I don't see it mentioned nor a help feature explaining....I posted a classified I no longer need. How do I delete this post?

You have to be a paying member to delete a post. Just add a post that says found and the thread should work it's way to the bottom and not be seen any longer.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think you can hit the edit button and backspace delete until you have nothing but maybe a period or something else, then post. It will only be that left, and people will not contact you for an expired event. Sounds like it will work anyway.
