I know this is an old post, but I am interested in seeing what the top looks like. It seems that none of the pictures show up. Can you re-post some JeeperDon?

Apparently when a link to a photo goes dead, JF removes the link from the post. I juggled photos around on my hosting site and they were 'missing' for a day a few weeks ago. Though they are back now at the same links, JF dumped all the links. I have added some mostly final results photos to the first post of this thread. I hope it is enough. I used to have a photo of the tube door surrounds, but can not find those. The surrounds look exactly like those from an OEM or Bestop Supertop.

Man, I am trying to do the same thing with mine. Is there a place to get the photos?

Photos are at end of first post. I had more, but they were deleted from here and I could not find them on my system to replace.

Yea I saw the after photos. I am trying to figure out a way to close the hole behind the door. I was hoping to get some photos of the way you designed it and built it.

I used 1/2" tube stock to duplicate the exact shape and size of the OEM soft top's door surrounds, with the bottom plugging into the bracket on the tub, and the top front end flattened and using the OEM zeus fastener. Except instead of having the upper rear go straight to the front top hoop, it only goes back an inch or so and has a strut sideways to hold the upper rear of the surround away from the rollbar tube heading to the windshield. It's then a 3 point connection, front zeus, bottom rear plug in, and top rear fixed to roll bar. With that in place, the fabric can wrap around and velcro to it with the same sewing design as the OEM top and the OEM side windows.

I could not find the old pics, and I can not take new ones as top is all packed up for my move from NY to Albuquerque in 8 weeks.

This is a ten year old thread and JF has 2-3 times in the past just deleted the photos, I guess to save space. I'm not going to attempt to upload them all again, but here is one in my driveway in Albuquerque.

Next month the top will be ten years old. It still works fine, though I only use it a couple days a year. I rarely carry it, only do on weekend off-road trips.
