1975 CJ5 Pass Side Floor Support at Toeboard

First fabrication attempt.

The floor support at the toeboard/firewall on the passenger side is gone.

I see classic enterprises has the floorboard support, which I can cut up. https://www.classicent.com/products/...orts-1972-1975 . But I don't think I'm that advanced yet to remove the old horizontal plane floor/body hat channels and............. the vertical triangle shaped body support for the toe board is somewhat wasted at the bottom.

Anyone have any options?

I was thinking 2 x 1 angle..bolt the angle to the body mount and weld to the vertical body support ( https://www.classicent.com/products/...eboard-support ) The 1 inch side of the angle would be in the vertical plane and up high enough to catch solid metal on the vertical triangle shape body support.

Sorry about the images being 90* off. I can't figure out how to rotate them 90* clockwise to be in the proper plane.
